Mychal Wynn, recognized as one of the world's premiere authorities on closing the achievement gap, student achievement, school improvement planning, and college planning, visited Pender County Schools October 13 and 14. He addressed 8th grade students across the district in school level meetings.   His message to students gave practical advice on setting goals that relate to dreams.  Wynn provided districtwide staff development on the afternoon of October 14th.
